A little progress this morning: One coat of paint of the top and edges to seal it, need to flip and sand other side, seal it. Then flip back over to top and do a second, final coat.

Got the bottom sanded, sealed with black paint and ready to go. Just waiting for it to dry so I can finish the top side. Im at the tail end of my quart of black paint, if I only do the top it will barely be enough. If I need to add anything or touch up, I will need more paint.

The 46 gallon should have the presence that was missing with the shorter 30 gallon.

Fishroom kind of back together now. Kind of tempted to keep the old 30 gallon. Would have to drop shelf below the bowfront. I would lose a ton of useful storage if I did that.

Todays update, decied to give up the storage under the 46g bowfront in order to use the 30g again, lol.

I already owned it and it would not take much to get it running so I did it. Should be set up this weekend and the arrowhead puffer will get moved back in it. Then some others are getting moved and rehomed so I can take on growing out something else... not sure what just yet

I vote for Amphilophus Lyonsi. From what I gathered a smaller, less murderous Festae of sorts.

Those are very cool fish with a lot of color but..... I am thinking of possibly non amphilophus. There are a lot of upcoming stock changes to the fishroom. Im in the rehome stage right now to prep for what I am thinking of next. Things of interest at the moment include Cuban cichlid, bleekeri, red wolf. I am likely opening up both 90’s and a 65B for something different. My trimac is super shy so I will likely let it go too. Would consider growing out more to try and get a male that is more outgoing. Anyway lots of ideas...
