I really enjoyed Time To Hunt, hope you can find it.I can watch it again lol. There seem to be a few good looking Korean crime movies on there but few of them are dubbed in English.I don't care for trying to read subtitles while I am trying to enjoy a movie.
Chestnut Man seems pretty good but I made the mistake of trying to watch it near bedtime so I fell asleep on it lol.
Yeah, subtitles can be tough on enjoyment levels. I had my eye on the chestnut man to start with so now you've brought it up I might watch the first episode tonight.

Right, when I saw the preview I thought it was a movie and then when I went to watch it I realized it is a series.

Yeah, I think there are 6 episodes. Like I said, I looked into it when it first came on Netflix at the end of September, but for some reason it didn't seem to grab me, so I left it, until now when you brought it up. I'll watch the first episode later and take it from there, but it'll need to get me from the start, I don't like slow stuff.

Lol. I watched the first episode last night. It does seem ok but, like you, I watched it too close to bedtime and once or twice nodded off!

I'll stick with it and see where it goes.

I watched a second episode last night of that series I found called "bad sport" on Netflix. I mentioned how good the "hoop games" episode was about match fixing in basketball. Well the one I watched last night was even better. It was called "need for weed", and told the story of Randy Larnier, an American amateur racing car driver who rose through the ranks in motor racing, but funded absolutely everything from his multi million dollar weed importing business.

I've never heard of the guy until last night, but some of you guys may remember the huge scandal when it all came out in the mid 1980's. Fascinating documentary.

K krichardson . Finished watching "The Chestnut Man" tonight. Not the best crime drama I've ever seen, but watchable.

I don't know how available they are in the states, or whether you've ever heard of them, but my favourite crime dramas are "silent witness" and "trial and retribution". Both are quite old with multiple series. They were utterly brilliant and I'm afraid "The Chestnut Man" falls some way short, lol.

Haven't heard of either of those but I'll look around and see if I can't find them.

I've just had a quick look at Netflix and unsurprisingly neither are on there, so I think you'll struggle. But a more up to date series that is on Netflix, and absolutely gripping, is "Line of Duty".
