Upcoming Movies and TV shows

I've just had a quick look at Netflix and unsurprisingly neither are on there, so I think you'll struggle. But a more up to date series that is on Netflix, and absolutely gripping, is "Line of Duty".
.....and probably not on Amazon either.I will check out "Line of Duty".

Tomorrow War on Amazon prime was pretty good. Basically like a mix of Alien, Aliens, Predator, and Alien vs Predator with Chris Pratt and time travel…but like you wish you were watching alien or Predator the whole time.
Entertaining and a nice story though.

I saw the ad for that while I was browsing on there earlier.I haven't watched anything on Amazon in a while but they did have some decent zombie/post apocalypse movies.....two genres I enjoy when the movies are done well.

The "alien" films are right up there with my favourite films of all time. You can't beat that genre of film. Stuck on a forlorn spaceship or deserted on an alien planet. My favourite "alien" film based on earth is "The Thing" starring a very young Kurt Russell.

On the topic of alien, unpopular opinion of mine is that alien was much better than aliens.
I love action, but the suspense of the first one made for a much better and more entertaining film than the shoot ‘em up attitude of the sequel. Even going to the length of not letting you get a good look at the Xenomorph until it had already been killed is what makes it feel so real, despite being such a (relatively) old movie.
I’ve been informed not to waste my time with any of the “Alien” movies past that…(alien vs Predator was fun though).

Also on Netfix is a slew of gangster/crime dramas that look really good but they are Korean and not English dubbed nor are they subtitled. It peeves me that those films are not at least subtitled.

I love them all but there's usually a common trend that happens with sequels.....they're never as good as the one that went before, and I agree, "alien" from 1979 was the best.

Did you enjoy Alien vs Predator.

Yes, I love the alien and the predator films. What joy when they were pitted against one another in AVP. Lol.

There's meant to be a load of good foreign stuff out there but I just can't get past the subtitles.
