She is a savage, he is an inch bigger than her and granted I should have seen that coming after what she did in courting with a much bigger male. They are divided but on this occasion were together. He seems to not be aggressive enough for her. I will keep trying and I can try with a big cyano in future if this fails. I've tried putting one of his daughters from a RT project in his side to see if this gets him fired up. So far the pink pyscho is just going nuts lol

So slight update, she has been paired with the above fish and no luck. She has always laid eggs when the divider is in place. When it is removed she went over a month and no egg laying.

Got me thinking, I think she might actually be vieja fenestratus or at least looking at some photos, she looks like the pink morph.

I saw this video and the one does have the darkened eyes while the other has the yellow. Not claiming it is that particular fish but she sure resembles them.

mine does have the yellow eyes but most cases she has been paired with a male. Her eyes get dark when she is in breeding mode. Also she does have darker patches of pink at times, when I got her she was very dark pink. Regardless she is proving to be difficult to spawn with any male, always lays on opposite side of divider. Only time she did the deed with a male was my SRM and well he is a dud.
