There’s a reason that you don’t see motorcycles like this on the street much, but only in shows. With that much traction on the rear end it’s almost impossible to steer them, once you get going along fast.

People tend to panic when they won’t turn, tuck the front wheel too hard, and flip them over.

I almost did this myself on a downhill curve, riding a much less powerful trike. Motorcycle riding is all about “body English”. Trikes don’t respond to that very well, and I found myself hanging way off the trike on the inside, to make the turn.

I’ve only ridden one Harley Davidson trike, which was a 750cc: The flathead 45. It had wide tires on the back of it and a short wheel base and it was easy enough to tip.

The thing that's always got me with some of these motorbikes ulu is the positioning of the handlebars in comparison to the sitting position. You're sitting quite low down and your arms are wayyy up to hold onto the bars. It just looks so damn uncomfortable.

Your arms must ache like hell on long journeys. The picture below seems to be the standard with these type of bikes. Do your arms, shoulders and neck not ache after riding like this for lengthy periods?

My entire body aches after 2 hours on any motorcycle.

I was watching Joe Rogan‘s latest over on YouTube, and they were talking about re-introducing wolves into the wilds of Colorado.

The people in the city voted for unregulated wilderness releases of wolves, and the people in the country voted against it.

Sentiment seems to be that the people who live in the city (and are against guns) voted to have wolves running free in the wilderness, and people who live in the country (who are in danger of losing their guns) are eventually going to have wolves approaching their backyards.

Hunting will not be allowed under the new laws. You won’t be able to hunt wolves, and there won’t be many other game animals to hunt. Once they smell the wolves, I think they will move along.

I expect in 10 years the state’s gonna be paying a lot of money to licensed hunters, to exterminate wolves that have killed off peoples dogs, goats and children.

In the meantime, I expect shotguns to get very popular there.

Some unscrupulous ranchers may welcome these wolves with open arms, especially if they've put measures in place to protect their animals, because if the wolves still get to them they can claim up to SEVEN times the value of each lost animal!

I wonder what the going rate is for a lost child though!

Colorado has released its plan to reintroduce wolves. Now, it has to sell it.

Expect 30 to 50 wolves in the next five years.

60 years ago, Dad bought this Scout.
I still have the manuals and papers.

I still have the Scout, albeit fitted with a newer body.
It needs a complete overhaul, but this is a very simple car.
And I've had it apart before.

Warn hubs
4.88 gears with Power-Loc front & rear
8000 lb Warn PTO winch & Stainless cable.
I'm starting to think I should get this done.
I haven't worked on it for 20 years.

I saw this relic at a Fresno auction house.

I think this adorned a local USA tire store in the 50's ~1970's.
My wife said it might be from the Mars Drive-in restaurant.
Both are long demolished.

That piece reminds me very much of the type of old stuff they regularly encounter on that US TV show, "American Pickers", where two guys go around peoples properties and rummage round for old tat which has been buried in sheds and barns for decades. It'd be right up your street ulu.

They come across some truly fascinating pieces. They buy them, restore them to former glory and sell them on. There is a real market for that kind of stuff.

Hello; Fair enough for someone facing awful pain and other suffering with no hope of getting better. I get that situation. The story is different in that the person was physically healthy and was some mentally recovered from a worse mental state.
