Hello; Went out to my truck a few weeks ago. Saw a bit of fiberglass on the ground. Thought mice were back. A week or so before truck would not start. Found that mice had chewed the wires and shorted them out. So truck is down. Opened the hood to find a full grown racoon asleep on top of the engine. Had clawed the pad under the hood apart to make a nest. I ran it out with a long stick and chased it out of the yard. Truck is to be towed to a shop tomorrow.DSCN9019.JPG

They sure select some odd locations to bed down and nest in.....years ago I had a Pontiac Bonneville sitting in my yard and when a potential buyer came to check it out we lifted the hood and there was a full grown opossum curled up in a bed of leaves in the battery space.
I prodded and disturbed the varmint and as it climbed out of the engine bay the buyer took off like a bat out of Hell!

....and his time has finally come.
I watched the coronation ceremony, it was cool from a historic point of view but also overblown nonsense from a 2023 point of view.
The coronation concert the next day was appalling, with the rich history of British music and all the great artists they have produced they couuld have done much better than what they came up with. At times i felt like i was watching one of my daughters school concerts not a celebration of a new king.
Did i it all get much coverage in the U.S?

I'm not sure if it got very much coverage as I watch very few channels and shows on tv,but one or two of those that I do watch did show a short clip of it.I wasn't even aware of any concerts related to the coronation lol!
