As this story unfolds fishhead0103666 fishhead0103666 I can't help but ask a glaringly obvious question.

When you move out of an house, whether it's your own house, or rented accommodation, you simply hand the keys over to the new owner/tennant, you certainly don't hang onto them so you can let yourself back into your old property as and when it suits!

When we moved into our new house back in 2014 we were given the keys off the previous owners and they went their jolly way, never seen them since. It never entered our heads to change the locks and what not. Maybe the real estate industry works differently in the US.

Who was responsible for getting the keys off this guy? It certainly shouldn't be you! And given the fact he has learning disabilities I'd have thought it was extra important to get those keys, just in case he "forgot" where he lived and came back to his old house, like he did!

What part did the estate agents play in all this that left you so open?

Well, you can take the original key but I can always pop down to a Walmart and have a duplicate key made for $2 in 1 minute and everyone makes at least one copy of their key which is their personal property and as such the seller or their agent can’t force them to give that key to them. The only way to be 100% sure is to change the locks or have the lock re keyed as I did.

Looks like he's sculpted himself into a strange shape too by grazing on the foam. That is one podgy foam filled fish, lol.

I think the large pleco is eating off of it as well. Perhaps all this wailing about plastics in the ocean isn’t the problem we think.
What if it’s like not feeding the Bears so they don’t become dependent on food from campers?

Will fish start going hungry if we remove plastics from the ocean? What if we find they have all evolved gut bacteria that will decompose plastics?

Perhaps I’m only thinking these crazy thoughts because it’s breakfast time and now I am hungry.

The “other” Pleco.

Dyson the power-vac: he is 16 inches long & about 5 inches “wingspan” in this pose.

Blue Leeloo, the hybrid cichlid, picks on him all the time but cannot bite through that toothy armor.

All of a sudden that manky looking foam filter is looking very appetising eh, lol.

If you take the plunge and begin feasting on it be sure to post your findings. You never know, you may have discovered a new fad diet, lol.

I am definitely not going to eat this one. I have never seen anything like this before

Sunflower, the yellow lab, has this cyst, and it is getting bigger and bigger. I put him into a quarantine barrel outdoors about 28 days ago and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. It was about half the size when I put him in the quarantine.

The pictures are poor because there’s about 30 inches of water in the barrel. Not much light either.

All my aquarium water goes through this barrel before I water my trees with it, so he’s getting a water change almost every day, as I am changing water almost daily in the main tanks too.

Adding this barrel increased the system volume to 300 gallons now but I’m not sharing the quarantine water back into the system, of course.
I was doing a lot less water changing in the system, and using probiotics in it. But I determine that the system is too populated for that and I have been doing much more water changing and using less and less probiotics.

I am still using probiotics in the two 90 gallon systems, one salt and one fresh, and they are doing quite well with a weekly water change. But I don’t have big plecos and a 12 inch Oscar in those systems.

In this picture above, I am feeding grocery store shrimp, and Dyson the Pleco has horned in to steal one from the Felix Oscar and Leeloo the hybrid.
