Yes but the fry may require brackish water to survive. A employee from the Wetspot stated this species breeds all the time for them.

You will need to have a devoted time schedule to feed and hatch brine shrimp. I feed them a few times before leaving to work.
The pipefish do move around that's those two favorite spot.
Oh my. Baby BS, Daphnia and Copepods all raised to support these little pipefish. That kind of dedication is cool to see.
Do these as adults have prehensile tails such that they anchor themselves to other objects like seahorses?
Sorry for the late reply yes the pipefish tail is used to anchor themselves to plants etc.
