Yes but the fry may require brackish water to survive. A employee from the Wetspot stated this species breeds all the time for them.Do they readily spawn in captivity like some seahorses

Sorry for the late reply yes the pipefish tail is used to anchor themselves to plants etc.Oh my. Baby BS, Daphnia and Copepods all raised to support these little pipefish. That kind of dedication is cool to see.
Do these as adults have prehensile tails such that they anchor themselves to other objects like seahorses?
