Seen this today male has eggs in his pouch. Tbh I really didn't want to raise fry lol.
Look very closely at the pouch those are eggs. You will see a egg at the bottom attached outside of pouch.

The eggs are developing but don't know when they will fully develop.

Well very interesting morning
I was observing the male and noticed a egg was missing. I found it on the bottom of the substrate so used a turkey baster to get it.
I immediately set up a breeder box.

Had to take pic from the bottom of the breeder box. I looked at it with my magnifying glass and noticed body with egg sac attached but tbh didn't notice movement of eyes or the mouth.

Hopefully they will survive. Very cool fish.

Was wondering why eggs were released from the males pouch. Did research on a Seahorse forum and found out that a young inexperienced pair may not get it right the first time. Only one developing embryo left in pouch for now.

Just noticed the male has eggs in his pouch again
Looks like the pouch is sealed better this time.
