, there you go! You are displaying the same sort of hypocrisy that I was bemoaning (and admitting to!) earlier. You ridicule people who display affection towards their dogs...while coddling your fish and describing their antics as though they were precocious children...and then turning around and brutally slaying a few innocent insects! They wanted nothing more than the chance to land on your dinnerplate after walking around on a fresh dog turd outside! What makes their hopes and dreams any less valid than yours or mine?
This is the sort of blatant Speciesism that will be the downfall of civilization! Say one thing, do another; pay lip service to the idea of equality and dignity for all living things, but crush them beneath your iron will the moment it fits your hidden agenda!
I say that we should rise up and rebel against your evil brand of Humanistic Totalitarianism! Say NO to the enslavement and exploitation of our non-human brethren! Equality for all living things!
If we can live in a world where all humans everywhere can co-exist peacefully and with dignity, we certainly should be able to extend that peace to other living beings; all we need to do is...
