WOW! 60 neon tetras! that a lot of tetras! I'm glad that you are finally getting to restock your tanks. what else are you planning on putting in there?
So the Neons are in my GFs 100g nano tank and she hasnt decided yet on the additional stocking besides a group of emerald rasboras.

Then we have the 300 gallon which will be CA themed with 12 juvi Firemouths and 7 Oscura Heterospila. And columbian tetra's as dithers. Cichlids coming wednesday and tetras hopefully on sunday. Had actually planned to get the tetras earlier but the ones I could get were way too small and would probably end up being expensive fish food.

The other 100 gallon will be SA and stocked with 6 Pterophyllum Scalare 'Rio Nanay' and 7 Geophagus Tapajos Red Heads.

Those are some nice scapes there

Personally I just kinda flipped directions with my 150 gallon tank. From American cichlids to now bichirs. Pretty happy with it and they’re all doing pretty swell

I had a Firemouth issue I had posted about that was driving me crazy. Couldn't keep them alive at all.

Decided to get another batch just to try again. This time I got four and a week later, they're all doing good. Not shy, swimming together, and chilling. It's wonderful.
All my other fish are getting along good with them.

Tbh, I had the same idea with my 150G lmao just get a TON of small fish like that and make a massive school tank.

Just did a 90% water change on my discus planted tank. Itching to put in an order for about 20 adult rummynose tetras. Last school was eaten by my adult discus. Willing to give it another shot 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

dude, those are some spectaular scapes. those cichlids and geo's will love it. If you are up to it once they arrive, I'm sure we would all be eager to see just how much you can improve on perfection with fish in the tanks!

I commend you. Discus are such beautiful fish but they are soo hard to keep. I know that rummynose tetras work beautifully with discus, but I'm curious nonetheless to see how it goes. Good luck my friend and have a fantasic rest of your day!
