Drink and enjoy it lol....a coworker gave me a bottle,I drank almost half of it..it has a weird taste but I like it nice and cold.
Was it fresh squeezed lol. I tried to get into the powdered form, and it tasted exactly like I would think dirt would taste like if you mixed it with water lol.

Beets may be cooked various ways but when peeled and steamed, the drippings make a great base for tea.
I could try that....not sure about pickled,I've heard of it but it doesn't sound very appealing.

What about the pickled beets? I always liked those better than the plain boiled beets.
The only beetroot I ever had growing up as a kid were the pickled sliced variety. They came in glass jars with a lid on. Once in a while my mum would get the pickled whole beets, which you'd slice yourself, or eat whole.

It wasn't until years later that I tried the fresh beets from the grocers, and I didn't like them at all, too bland for me, the pickled ones are much better imo.

It's only in recent years that sports scientists and nutritionists and the like are claiming that beet juice is some kind of super food which aids recovery in several ways. How much truth is in this I don't know.

Whatever, I still love beetroot.....the pickled variety of course!
