They are about 15cm already and growing extreamly fast.
It's kinda hard to believe these are only about 4 month old fish!

Update my baby Pikes.
I still have 8 of them (others were sent to my friends shop) and I think they can go to bigger tank in end of this year, which I keep their parents now.
I also asked my friend in Japan to get some very special pikes and hope I can see a combination of 2 generations of nigerian odoe and the special one soon.
This may be one of the coolest threads I have ever read or seen here on MFK. Keep it up.

That's awesome mate! I know bettas do it too, but the thought of fish making saliva bubbles is quite the mind-bender, LOL

At which point did they stop cannibalizing each other? Or did they ever stop? Those youngsters all look about the same size; are they the largest of the bunch who ate all their smaller siblings?
In those family photos, the adults look large enough to try eating the young; do H.odoe typically act like some predators that eat very large prey and sometimes try to eat prey that is too large? Or are they smart enough not to choke themselves to death with oversize prey?

Seems their carnivalistic habits decreased in around 10~15cm size, and I didn't saw parents attack babies but I can't really sure that's because they notice themselves or just have enough foodsCongratulations! Terrific thread, thanks for sharing.
