Im looking for scientific information(articles, experiments,research)
On fish that are experiencing growth stunning due to unappropriate environmental conditions(Tank size,water quality,etc)
And the effect of fhe growth stunning on their health, organ functions,immune system, physical suffering and mental state.
This is a part of an action that can help alot for fish welfare in my country, so ill really appreciate your help!

Here in Israel there is no regulation or legal demands for holding or trading fish at all. The only law here is that you have to hold a fish in a container that is no less then 1 liter.thats it. No matter of the fish size or specie or anything.... that is ridicules of course.. And it creates alot of suffering and neglation for fish.
We are in a process with the ministry of agriculture here in order to change the law and create a system that will support fish welfare and connect between the fish size, specie, and requairments to the animals welfare law here.

You don't need any fancy scientific evidence to show that placing fish in ridiculously undersized tanks is wrong.

You just need good eyesight with a liberal dash of good old common sense really.

And let's face it, the latter isn't something that the majority of government officials are blessed with!

And In any case, I'd have thought that the government in your part of the world would have much more important issues to deal with currently than fish welfare.
