know very little about the flowerhorn, I'm curious about the history of the flowerhorn if you have a picture of what it looked like before,the original flowerhorn

The Creators of FH keep there info very private i use to breed them about 20 years ago and from what i've heard the very first FH where crossed with Trimacs and Red Devils. Dont know how true that is.

I’ll be honest as I’m a bit of purist when it comes to cichlids and hybridizing but damn that’s a great looking fish!

Despite the fact that 15 years ago there were already bright selection FH, my first fishs looked like trimac.
