What are your thoughts on keeping koi in aquariums?

Last I knew, you can keep species that have no season such as any sunfish species. Unless the law has changed, I don’t think you can keep anything such as bass, pike etc.
They are a 2-3 foot long, 20 pound, invasive, pest that feeds by stirring up mud and eating anything that fits in their mouth. Carp as a whole are some of the most invasive and destructive fish worldwide.
