I feed him frozen baby Brussels sprouts.. they sink so it’s easy. The AUL and GG eat them also

Thank you! I have found keeping the maintenance easy and simple helps me stay in the hobby. If it turns into work then I’m going to quit.
Changing the filters takes me 10 minutes, once a week in the summer and every other week in the winter. Auto drip so I never do water changes. I drip unfiltered tap water. No need to filter water here in the US.

This is my go to. They get about a pound a day during the summer and half that during the winter. The Smelt is “silver sides” I get them at the local Asian market for $3.50 a pound. Way cheaper that the pet shop.
