Thanks mate. The tank itself is 72" x 22" x 16". For the water volume it's 72" x 16" x 16".

I'm a cichlid guy. I find characins to be nippy and skittish. I like the look and behaviors of cichlids. Discus would look great in this setup IMHO. Or geos as other people suggested above. But choosing fish is a very personal thing, do what makes you happy.
