12 Volt, what's your plan for him? He going in with the lemons when big enough? I find my flag isn't a pushy eater; they tend to be quite slow and deliberate. They are smooth operators! (they can eat a good bit of algae too).
 
wow i just read this whole thread and it took me about 4 days of off and on reading and i had fun reading it the whole time.
i have one question though, how big do flag tails normally get?

They say the max size for one is 12"s but I have seen one in a fish store that was bigger than that, I think I heard they can reach 16" if properly taken care of in a large aquarium.

Taeneurs around 12'', insignus around 16''
