Tinfoils looking good there! I miss mine's already. Tried to visit them yesterday (that is if they haven't been sold) but the LFS had a massive powercut and had been out of power for 3 hours when I got there and weren't letting anyone in! Damn!

new 50g tank in place, no chips that I can see :)
I thought you were pulling our legs about the tank until I saw the reflections. Hell that is a SPOTLESS tank. Nice. What is going into it?

BTW, the 65 with the angels is stellar. Any more pics of it?

thanks. no problem I will post some more pics of the 65g tomorrow.

not entirely sure what I am putting in the 50g.

it would make a nice home for 4 discus (haven't kept them in a long time now)

but it would also make a nice home for a school of Filamentosa barbs, fish that I have kept twice yet never grew them up to full size and colour.

first batch I had I had to sell when I moved

second batch I sold because they were nippy in my 150g...soo..I am leaning towards a 'nippy/semi agressive' tank..

with filament barbs.

sajica cichids, some clown loaches...something like that..

not 100% sure yet..:)

Loaches and filament barb tank idea sounds cool! I could be biased though!

I saw a huge filament at my LFS a few months back. It was slightly bigger than 6 inch i'd say it was nearer 7. And they are meant to grow to about 6 max.

thanks. if there is one thing in our hobby that I will never understand is the growing reluctance to buy brand new tanks. a lot of people won't even consider it.

yes, I realize that you save a lot of money buying used. but man...some of the used tanks are..well...really really used if you know what I mean :)

its just not worth it in my opinion..especially on larger setups.

you can still have your dream tank brand new, you just have to save a bit longer.

its all worth it in the end..

Discus would look very nice in the new tank.So would a school of red line barbs. I like the Filamentosa barb idea too.

Tanks look great!
