it took a while, but I got a decent filament barb shot, showing the colours developed to date. can't wait until these guys get larger.

Awesome. Mines are just starting to develop the black line on the fins, red is very faintly showing but not as much as that yet. Looking forward to them growing!

the tinfoils are in a serious growth spurt. they eat and eat and eat. including wolfing down the tetra cichlid sticks that I used to feed my lemon fins. it seems I could sit there and feed them all day and they would still keep eating.

That is bright red on those fins. I almost need my raybands!

thanks. the tinfoils seem to turn their colours on and off. sometimes I come down my stairs and they are more of a dull red. other times they are much brighter.

I used to have a couple and I experienced similar. I guess with most fish, colours change depending on mood etc.

yup. these guys push each other around quite a bit, and when they are fighting, they are bright red.
