some pics of the grow out - african - upstairs

the leaf fish are very food driven and personable as you can see in the pics...

the palmas is growing fast vs the little lap not so much...

the butterfly fish are pretty aggro for their size, going after my fingers and splashing water while hitting pellets....

This going pretty well minus the Endli - has genetic defect vs spinal injury...

added the two leaf back as they are 2” or so now and i need the african grow out for something my wife likes.... happy wife = bigger tanks ?

the little palmas is the only one that’s really out, the rest stay in the heap, pile, mound, not sure if there's a term for it...

eating so / so - mainly pellets / some shrimp and tilapia...

the butterfly fish are living in my 120g Continent slurry tank with no real direction along with the 2 jewel cichlids i has added until one of them showed up with a ring around its body... sumthin tried to eat it...

looking at a 6’x30”x30” for their next home - maybe some of that fancy red sand ?

endli’s not dead... just different ?

Flint town!
Oh yeah and I guess one of the lower jaws the culprit of the ring. Those are going to be your heart breakers unfortunately. Just being honest from my own experiences.

Let my lynching begin.........

Usually.....but if you look up death roll. Just saying. It's usually ok between polys but other fish could be the issue.
ahh,

mainly poly in there .... sadly as my african bio tope tank is predominantly poly with an Afer and a side of leaf fish ?
