120G - African Biotope - Suggestions

How was your order from live aquaria? I'm east coast and Ive held off ordering from them mainly because their located in California, but they do have an impressive selection. I've had good success ordering from Imperial Tropicals and Blue grass Aquatics but they dont have near the selection as live aquaria.

I had one rare stubborn fish that refused to eat pellets. Starve her for almost 2 months and wouldnt budge. 3 yrs later out of the blue she started taking pellets. Lol go figure

I’ll give the vita chem a go, I was doing it with the bass, maybe adding too much as they reluctantly ate vs their normal aggro method.

they packed the best out of everyone... commercial operation ya... had fish come from other vendors looks like it was packed by... I’ll try to be nice... not well... fish alive and healthy.

fish I would presume would not eat pellets or flake are...

I’d say go for it!

some of their discus / pleco / and other stuff they price at $150 are way over priced imo...

Thanks for the heads up, I don’t think I will have any problems especially since I have 6 but I will keep an eye out for any aggression. At the moment they seem to not care about anything including each other.
 
Yes I have heard they can be aggressive with each other. That's why I haven't added more, pretty sure mine would not put up with more of them.
