IMO, green sunfish and other big-mouth sunfish should be avoided if you want a grass pickerel. Tried housing three different young northern pike with green sunfish and rock bass, dont work since they keeps eat all pikes' food.

I saw a video of one being fed on YouTube. He had a divider holding his yellow perch back. Seems like it could be a PITA to do every time though. So I will need to give it some thought

I toyed with the idea of a 300 gallon plywood for bass, but thats just too much for me.

I want to try my hand at planting too, so that is the part Im trying to learn most right now. Just a few plants as most of the focus will be the fish. Some of the planted tanks I see are unbelievable.

nice! An Endor theme would work well for natives.

I keep having ideas of doing a small tank done entirely with Legos on the inside. Endless possibilities. If safe????

I have this whacky idea for a tank called "earth 2250" and I just have a bunch of like, empty beer cans, spare tire, pieces of scrap metal and like foam cup floating around or something lol
