yeah, sturgeon are awesome, but, they just get to big, i don't know if i'll ever have one, i wish though, sturgeon rock i totally agree
Beautiful tank, I am really impressed with how natural it looks. I agree with "nsfmabk" it does look more like a largemouth... a couple ways you can tell is if the dorsal fin is split all the way down to the back or close to the back of the fish it is a largemouth, if it is connected then you have a small mouth. another way to tell is if the corner of their mouth goes passed the eye it is a largemouth if it stops before the eye it is a small mouth.... and smallmouth are darker in color and are smaller but it is hard to tell the difference in color in a lot of cases when they are younger... hope this helps
That's why you need a shovelnose. They only get like 14" which would make them awesome for aquariums. I really want one myself
yeah largemouth are sweet fish... ill probably have have to set up a NA tank like yours one of these days... did you catch the largemouth? they are a fun fish
shovelnose is not native to here, so, if i did get one i wouldn't put it in this tank
