Hey guys and gals. Sorry nothing can be done this weekend except some tank maintenance. I only have one day off because of thanksgiving so it will be next weekend before I can do anything, but good news is that I will have plenty of time and money to work on the tank next weekend because it will be a five day weekend for me, and then hopefully I will be able to finish it when I'm off again for christmas!!! I've been having some issues with my tanks, because of lack of time for maintenance and feedings so I'm having to buckle down and just do it no matter how tired I am. I should have a plethera of time on my hands next weekend though. To answer a few questions.

I believe there is well over one page of info in this entire thread. Probably like 20 pages, but yes most of it is just people asking for pics. You'll have to be patient and wait on the article I will do when it's finished.

I will be putting sand and rock mixture in this build. Still debating on a reverse under gravel filter though.

I'm shooting for christmas, but the way things are going lately you never know. I at least want to have it done before my 2nd anniversary with the wife so that I can focus on her and not worry about the tank soo much.

Definetly more than 1 page of good info on this thread, I'm actually surprised that someone would think that let alone say it :screwy:

Don't worry to much about a finishing date Necro... Get the day to day's done first then worry about this... As interested as everyone is in this build they all understand that there are other things in life than their demands and wishes.... with that said... GET SOME STINKIN PICS UP ALREADY :grinyes:

Necro as much as we all want to see the finished product we all want to se it done right and not rushed. there was so much happening for so long we arent used to the new pace but it is to be expected as now its a slower process doing the finishing work. keep it up

i gotta be honest. i'm not really interested in the build being done. Sorry Necro, but i'm selfish, and the more you work on it, the more you adapt and change, the more i learn.

one thing i wanna say is i really liked the way the outside looked with the bare 2x4's showing. Adding the plywood on the outside feels like needless overkill and will take away from the beauty of it. It's really a solid and beautiful build. Dont hide it!
