I'm really toying around with the idea of just making the custom internal filters. If I do them half the height of the tank like in the pic they will be easy to maintain and also provide some hiding spots for some of my large catfish. I'm going to crunch the numbers on what it would cost to do a rugf for this beast. I'm hoping that a local shop here in town can get me a better price on some resin and gelcoat. We'll see. I've also found a source of extra large driftwood (missouri river), and there is one spot that has a ton of driftwood on this small enbankment. I need to go grab some before it's washed away during the melt. I just have to fight with a few geese for it. lol.

mmmm Free driftwood huh... I've been meaning to run the St lawrence and look for some...Not sure if I should wait till spring or while it's still cold :irked:... I guess I'll see what my free time allows for
 
in your garage? sure ur not building a garage..jk....amazing, wish I had the space and the money. BTW to date how much $$$ has this run u so far?
