You've pretty much got the idea, although there is some really good discussion on different ideas for different materials, it's mostly just us guys joking around, but hey if you want a few laughs go ahead and read the nearly 200 pages! You have a better attention span than most:D

hahaha....I'm just skimming through looking at the posts with pics. :P I'm not a total glutton for punishment.

Don't cry when you get to the sad parts.

I'm actually in the garage working on the tank some now. I figure I need to put some extra time into this thing so that when I can afford to buy the sealer I can just seal it up and call it good lol. Cleaned out the internal pond filter in the 300 gal pond! EWWWW!!!!! The pillow fiber in the bucket filter was solid crap! Guess that's what I get for not cleaning it all winter! Too much of a risk to clean it during the winter though. That's why I do a light feeding schedule!

I've been following along, and OMG! It's gone from a pile of lumber and now it's a beautiful monster tank! I can't wait to see it completed and stocked! :D

Ahhh yes , internal pond filters....I have the same kind of filter fun you have because I dont have bulkheads and sumps for my liner ponds. Things will hopefully get easier for you now, just a wee bit of a different scale. Very nice catfish you have there, have they united and launched any class action yet? cant wait to see them in your awesome build!

They have served a one month notice to vacate their current homes. I'm pushing the max for all of them, and if this doesn't work then I'm sure more will die as a result. My catfish are hinging on the completion of this tank. For sure if you have monster catfish start your monster tank build sooner rather than later like me lol.

That is great advice, I'd also add to try to take less than a year for the build :grinyes:

Well if you can get more help, and more money than what I have had during this build you'll do fine!
