I've never dealt 1sthand with paroons that small but as the highly experienced expert peers say above, you should have no problem with your paroon recognizing almost anything reasonable as feed. I'd be surprised if it refused any kind of fish food pellet or flake or bloodworm or pieces of frozen-thawed fish, etc. Let us know how it goes on...
EDIT: your statement about your store not having pellets for paroon but for IDS sounds strange. As Krich said above, we never heard of paroon-specific pellets but maybe there is such a thing in your country where paroons are farm raised. I doubt it though. The manufacturer's of commercial scale, cheap dry pelleted fish feeds make products for a wide spectrum of fish, like for instance ALL catfish, or ALL game fish, etc. Then there are manufacturer's of more expensive feeds and these are geared toward smaller groups of fish, like carnivore, herbivore, omnivore, algaevore, insectivore, etc. But never to a single fish species AFAIK.
