206G Plywood Tank...Done - Part1

Cool thread! You scored on the sponsorship deal! How much does the epoxy resin cost if one had to buy it? Can it be purchased directly from your "test facility" or would a person have to go through a distributor? How much resin did you use in total on the inside?
looking great with all these threads on Wood tanks I am seriously considering my next on e to be wood. I presently have 3 all glass tans and they get pretty pricey once you get big. I am looking forward to the rest of the Progress and the final product.

Well, this is the latest:
Started work on the stand some time ago. Due to family obligations and other stuff I wasnt able to do much for a long time. Recently I snagged some time and made the most of it.
Tha tank has been sitting on the garage floor full of water since it came home. I put an old corner filter and a tiny circulation pump in it just to keep the water moving. W/C out about 25% every week. The water also kept the tank stable in a hot garage.
This was an exercise in cutting costs by using whats available. The tile was sitting around from a project years ago. The plywood was leftover from the tank build. The whole setup looks kinda garish right now but I hope it will sing when it's done.
The filter is an Ehiem 2250. The filter bay has a light, power strip and weatherproof switches.
Please excuse the garage...I hate it looking like that but I havent had time to straighten it up.

looks good so far. What color are you going with on the outside? Your links were particularly helpfull. I'll have to take into consideration some of what I have read so far. This info will come in handy towards the end of my build!

The outside is going to be a challenge...and an opportunity to try something different. Right now I'd like to cover it in a veneer or something.
