i don't know why it took so long for me to see this.

your tank is hot ant! and super heavy haha. gettin it moved from the store to ur spot was a lil mission but was a fun one. gettin to see it sit in its spot of glory was well worth the mission. oh and the bbq and beer topped it off as well. that setup is sweet and should be way more then enough. keep it up dude, your setup is way clean. did that part in the corner all level out after you filled it?

I paid $20 for each 30lb bag of Aragamax™ Sugar Sized Sand. $10 for a 50lb bag is way cheaper is still looks great IMO.

whats goin down kirk! yeah it was a mission. i swear my lowprofile tires were gon pop man! my face was stuck like this  but its all payin off though, cant wait till its all situated :headbang2 thanks again for dippin thru and helpin a homie out. that tank was HEAVY! i have to agree that the bbq, stalkin my neighbors, blackjack, and beer topped it off but i wish we had more meat! wasnt really prepared, next time well have a real bbq! and yeah, the stand is cool now!

why didn't you just get some of that bacteria in a bottle we sell? under 10 bucks, treats 300 gallons and allows you to have fish in there in 20 minutes :D looks good though! what kind of lights are going to be on it?

not that i dont mind your recommendations but bacteria in a bottle sounds like a scam (you tryin to steal my money! damn you aquatic! jk). why not just overdose the tank :headbang2and add your own bb from current tanks. thats what i did. i just threw in my crayfish and hybrid yellowlab/zebra in last night and theyre fine. but for lights just straight flourescent bulbs, hagen sun-glo. i borrowed the light from my other tank to take a pic. im not sure if i want to use the 2 light fixtures that came with the tank for a lit up/bright look or 1 light fixture where it lights up the middle and the sides are dark. im leanin towards the 1 light fixture in the middle for a settle look. well see....

I generally take a new filter that is going on the new tank and put it on an established tank for a week or two. Then I set up the new tank I take water out of an established tank and fill it at least half way. Fill it the rest with treated tap water, throw on the filter, and instant cycled tank....
