In the tank...or for water changes lol. In the tank its been running...only one mag 18 right now but enough to get the ball rolling.
 
Yeah just the filters to age the water a bit running them through all the filtration. Maybe im nuts but I run all filters etc for at least 48 hours to test them out before I add fish . I also call it aging the water but I do not think it makes a difference as long as its dechlorinated.

I think I was replying while you were editing lol.

Yes the water has actually been running for a couple weeks now but I did a 100% change when I added the sand. So this water is already a few days old...will be a week on tuesday when I get the fish. I am currently running some carbon and poly filter on it too so I can test out this tetra stuff. I want it to all be 0 when I add fish and the safestart. I lucked out and called a lfs that happen to have 4 bottles. He kept it in the fridge...i know you dont need to but it dont hurt...so I put it in mine. I hope it works...it just might from what I read.

Yeah I was editing my bad. Right on sounds like your fish setup will be more than ready. Congrats man great planning and set up!
 
I still got a lot more to do...but its ready for some fish I think too...hate that I have to wait till tuesday tho.
 
I finally opened my Kent reactor and its broke. Good thing because I found something similar for 1/2 the price and comes with a flow valve! I am going to get 2 of them one for phos and one for carbon.

Broke kent and where im going to mount the reactors...one per side.

Nope they are sending me a return label. Thats cool with me...just means I got a better deal on my sand since I had to buy the reactor to get free shipping (175$). THis was at a different place not AQ.

Well my fish order from Livefishdirect is supposed to go today and get here tomorrow....BUT...I have been emailing and calling since I placed the order on thursday trying to give this guy my Credit Card info and he never picks up or replied to his email. I talked to him once the first time I called...he said to order online and call back with my CC info since the card im using isnt linked to paypal. I hope he doesnt hold up my order with this....I will be mad.
