Hope this doesnt turn into a food fight but 3 out of the 1st 4 ingredients in the hikari arent even aquatic based foods. Im guessing they are binding agents or something

Im not a fan of hikari but that just me to each his own im sure its a quality foid though

Sitting around waiting for the tanknto refill. Thought i would share this will you guys. Im always interested in nitrate reduction and have been messing around with some cheap diy applications.

Purigen reactor 1.0 lol 90 gph pump

2.0 is ok but at higher flow rates the purigen clumps up. Pump is an adjustable 120 gph. I think the bottle is too small for the amount of purigen. 1100ish ml.

Spent 15 bucks today and will try and build 3.0

The others were just scavenged from stuff around my house
