Has anyone asked the supplier if these are lake Chad pbb? Just curious.

I don't think US has ever gotten anything else other than Chad PBB. Even if we did get something else. Most likely they would come in 20"+

Aside from the holy grail Turkana pbb. There are other pbb that look slightly different from certain catch locale. I don't know enough about it. But here's a pic of a Chad and another.

There are other catch locale for PBB other than Chad. Not always going to look different of course, but here is PBB from Lake Fitri. Which is east of Lake Chad. They've been known to be lighter and carry slight differences amongst according to some Japanese importers.
