I agree with the guy, it may be something cool to see in a house, but I didnt get the wow factor when I saw it setup. The corals looks good but just setup wrong.

what I do not get about posts like this is one thing, do you guys not have the ability to read what the origional poster is saying

as a chef one thing i really cant understand is how people that work for me will talk advice about how I should do a dish when I am in the middle of making it and then when they taste the finished product they say how good it is, would it be as good if I followed their advice in the middle of it?

perhaps when the finished product is there to be seen all the reasons for why the OWNER OF THE TANK had stuff done will be very clear.

And anyways I keep my tanks decorated as I see fit cause they are my tanks and anyone who thinks I should do this or that can get their own tank and do that

Umm maybe this guy (the origional poster) is a business person building a custom ordered product that THE OWNER of said product has dicated to be done a certain way. Maybe this guy, has a job to do and is simply trying to get it through all the naysayers that this tank is actually THE OWNERS and so must be built the way the owner says

Personally when the owner of the house has it finished it will look fantastic

I sure Mike Brainstormed with the owner of this tank who by the way has been collecting fish longer than anyone on this board and has owned more fish than alot of the top members combined over the last 30-40 yrs.

Make no mistake the owner wanted the tank this way and this is what he likes. Mike was instrumental in putting it all together but Im more than sure Mike just made suggestions and gave some input but was most likely following the owners wants and desires for this tank.

He likes what he likes

No need to bash the person who did the labor etc

Its a big sw tank with some expensive fake coral in it.. either u like it or u dont like it...



some will like it some will hate it,,,, Life goes on....

Good thing is at least the person who has to look at it everyday likes it...

I understand what everyone is saying, If it was my tank I also would have put less corals in there myself and had different layout. But the corals were designed by the owner and also the main piece is custom/fit so it cannot he changed what you see is what you get. Since we are going to be putting some sharks in there we had to put the corals centered in the tank to allow the sharks to swim all way around the corals so they could have plenty of room to swim without having corals in there way.

That explains it perfectly. I'm sure a lot of people were confused about the layout (myself included), but it definitely makes a lot of sense.

No1 should be judging at all, this masterpeice is more than most of us could ever imagine to acheive.

and besides the people that own this.are doing what they like. you doom sayers dont have a dime involved in this project.let the people finish it. howmany of you rearange your tank around after its bin set up?
