425 Gallon Pond/Outside Tank Build

heres a little update. the lily pads are growin nicely

is the pump pumping from the bottom of the trash can up or does it spill over the top and them trickle down ward, i cant tell from the pics

yea sorry bout that, it is hard to tell. the filter has a pump at the bottom of the trash can that has a tube fed through the bottom of the trash can that pumps the filtered water back into the tank. it seems to be working great so far, i wish i had a little bit bigger pump but i can live with this one for now because as you can see from the pictures that filter is capturing a good deal of trash. next i plany to cut the handles and fat rim off of hte trash can so it is a little bit less noticeable...still cant wait to put my tropical fish in it

UH OH, THIS COLD FRONT DROPPED MY TEMP TO 55 LAST NIGHT (sorry caps) my dad checked it this morning and thats what it read. i am pretty much screwed if it drops that far with my fish in their arent i?

a little update...i now have two red devils , a jag, a 5 star general, a little turtle, 4 crayfish, 2 blue gourami test fish, an anostomus, and a jack dempsey...everyting is goin great and i will try to post some pics soon
