450 gallon build thread, 180 gallon racking system starts after

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they're by far the most interesting bass to watch transform into adult coloration

I know I can’t say it enough broko’s are my absolute favorite bass, even the dirty spots change some if you can keep a good photo log you will see it. I am horrible at keeping a good photo log :(.

the pinima are by far the most aggressive and the brokopondo is the only one they allow around them most of the time, I feel with bass as long as your filtration is right it's better to overstock a little to diffuse the aggression

Yes sir it definitely helps with aggression, for me my intermedia are the biggest punks right now orino’s are next in line.

haaa well see what my intermedias tempers turn out to be in a couple months as it stands today in terms of aggression with my guys I'd say it goes in order of pinima, brokopondo, orino,Azul, xingu, kelberi

cigars cigars also I'd have to agree with you that algae makes their colors pop as I've let my growout tank which is bare bottom grow some algae on the bottom as well as a little on the back and I have to say the intermedias greens and yellows have enhanced because of it

While your bass are small you may want to source a flagtail to help keep that wood clean.

Love the updates by the way.

I can’t wait until my orino lose their juvenile pattern and look like yours.
