I only used one layer of river rock and my return pumps 4000 gallons per hour which is going through a loc line return one facing the rocks and one facing the top which will put circulation through the rocks causing debris and waste to go into the water column and through the overflow. I planned that into using river rock because many before me have said they had problems with the waste so I used dieselmacks method
