If can definitely be set to a very high light setting if i wanted to (seen others do it before and it caused all hell to break loose algae wise), but i personally only go up to around 70% power during high noon setting... the other times of day its running a very low - medium light setup mainly focusing on blues and reds for growth and colors...

After getting some very honest feedback from people on another board i've decided to re-work thw tank a little... wish me luck...

Nice setup. I like the transition you go through.
Lol, you know i was kind of thinking whether or not this qualifies as 4.0... maybe it does considering the focus plants are now mainly bucephalandra and it'll be months before i see if the vision worked out or not...

So its all done for now... the hardscape didnt really change but the plant layout did take quite a hit and has been revamped a fair bit... so here are pics of the tank now...

Basically putting a lot more focus on the different var. of buce in the front, but as we all know, it means it'll also take at least a good 4-6 months before i see results...
