I used a guide and skill saw. I did the same for the windows and very carefully used a small sawsall in the corners of openings. I just started the openings with a drop cut with the saw. Make sure you have a good grip so it doesn't grab and shoot backwards if you do that!!Did you use a table saw for all your cuts? Jig saw for the viewing panel? I’m trying to decide if I want to use a skill saw and a guide for straight cuts or fork over the money for a table saw. Just trying to figure everything out before i start buying stuff. I’m doing a 360 gallon.
How much did you spend on screws? I saw you were using the ones that don’t require pre drilling.

Test your guide on cheap extra material. Most saw the guard is 1.5" away from blade but mine was a little less.
I can't remember the exact price but I want to say $10 per pack. I went through about 3 boxes. I also used 1.5" screws for the initial layer. And 1.25" for the rest since there was risk of going through both layers. All the same brand.
