I'm Getting a 55g sometime this week and I plan on making It a community tank. I need some help deciding on a "Centerpiece Fish". I would like It to be colorful but other than that I don't have any other preferences. I was going to get some bolivian rams but they don't seem to have much color, What would you recommend? (I'm getting the 75 gallon tank from my other thread In a couple of months)

I plan on at least having a small school of cardinal tetras and maybe some kuhli loaches would those little fellas do fine with them. Cause I know that certain cichlids are bottom dwellers and might try to run the kuhlis off. (also they look great).
Electric blue acaras or keyholes are both mid-size peaceful cichlids. The keyholes aren’t that colorful, but they have a nice bold pattern.
I’d get an electric blue acara. But all the suggestions are wonderful as well!
So far im veying towards electric blue acara. Im willing to get slightly larger schooling if yall can recommend any.
Colombian Blue Tetra, Diamond Tetra, Bleeding Heart Tetra,or Lemon Tetra just a few higher bodied species.
