Thanks. No heating needed on the tank with natives. But now that I switched to RBP I'll use submersibles right now the water temp stays about 74*F (23*C) which is room temp in the basement. Keeping a well sealed lid on the tank keeps a lot o heat in and I'm also going to have to insulate the room itself more.

quick question Gator: why didn't you put the overflow input at a lower level? i mean, crap always sit on the bottom of the tank, it would have meant less vacuming, wouldn't it?

Tank looks awesome. Very impressive. One question I have is how did you connect the floor of the tank (joists) to the stand?

I probably could have on one or two of them but with the position they are at now I only have to open the drain valve to drain 33% of the water then close and refill.
