Toenailed the screws. No clips anywhere. I've thought about it but its not really needed.

Thanks. I'm still planning on upgrading the filtrartion with a big DIY caister system but between vacation, the house, kids and restoring my boat the cash flow has been limited.

Just curious haw the tank is holding up. I am still trying to decide on what to coat with. Are you still happy with the Sweetwater paint?

Hey Gator how long in between coats did wait before re coating? Was it dry or still a little tacky?

Truly impressive! I have often thought of building a monster tank with plywood and was never certain how to go with it! Your post is well laid our and easy to understand.

You had mentioned something about not using bathroom silicone. Why is that? Does it cause an adverse affect on the fish?

Also with North American fish are you still not using a heater(s) and how is that working out?
