I just finished reading through this thread, start to finish. At several points I turned to my husband to show him photos & could see him shaking his head before he even viewed them.

I joined this forum for the brackish forum. With all the things that have since been added to my wish list, I think my spouse has begun to wish I never found this site.

Also, out of curiosity, how is the temperature regulation coming along?

So far the temps have been steady, we have had cold fronts that dropped the temps outside to the low 40's and during them the temps in the tanks went from 86 to 84.
The lowest the temps get around here is the low 30's and if we run our central heater it should stay in check.

Hey Egon, I have seen some of your pics of your tanks and I have to ask. Where did you learn to take pics of fish?
Is there a link you can give me for taking pics?

I have to add that I am using the camera on my 3G Iphone but I am thinking of getting "my wife" a decent camera for christmas lol

Ah, I see it's been a while since this was updated, maybe I'm behind but do ya have any updates? I'd love to see how the fish are growing out in that monster of a tank. I was hopin' maybe you gifted that nice camera and spent some time practicing on your monsters.

Houma's a solid town too, I was living down there when i was working on the oil spill, never thought of putting some local monsters in that tank?

HAHAH I just got "my wife" a new (used) Nikon D40 last Christmas. Holly cow it's nice! Next Christmas she's getting a remote flash and a new lens or three . I can't wait for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!
