All I have to do now is wait for the right time to order fish where it will not interfere with work so I can grow out fish in the 100gal while the big tank is cycling.
I still did not decide what type of cat to get though.

Dude, LOVE THE TANK!!! I just came across this post and read the whole thing. Looks awesome! Inspirational for sure. I have started a plan for a 400+ tank but it wont be happening until the next house I buy which will be a few years. This has given me alot more to think about and making me want to get that house sooner....hahaha.

The current stock list in the 560 is
4 channel cats at 4'' to 5''(dont worry, they are just being grown out for a pond)
1 tiger oscar 4''(being grown out for an uncle)
3 silver dollars at 4''
2 silver aro's 1 at 8'' and 1 at 11'' (I tried to get rid of one of them because he kept jumping but 2 days after I gave him to the pet store I went to check there stock and they had him with a bunch of ca cichlids getting beat up pretty bad so I took him back)
the current stock in the 100 growout is
10 orino's at 3''
7 silver dollars at 1'' to 1-1/2''
I also have 2 lima shovelnose cats at 4'' in a 29g quarantine
due to working 80hrs a week I do not have time to take pics of the tank but I think i will be caught up at work mid week and should have time to snap a couple of pics.
I warn you guys though, I have never taken a picture of a fish that didnt come out blurry lol

I just finished reading through this thread, start to finish. At several points I turned to my husband to show him photos & could see him shaking his head before he even viewed them.
I joined this forum for the brackish forum. With all the things that have since been added to my wish list, I think my spouse has begun to wish I never found this site.
Also, out of curiosity, how is the temperature regulation coming along?
