so you read the thread were the gulper ate a lei and you thought yours would for some reason be diffrent

why did you buy the gulper in the 1st place was it for it stunning good looks or that it can eat fish the same size if not bigger

their was always a risk this could happen so why are you so shocked

you took the gamble and lost

it maybe i am the only person to say what others are thinking
Yes I read the other thread. I have had gulpers before he posted that. I do not feed any of my fish live foods. I liked their personality, like a lil puppy with no end to eating I guess. I am shocked to see how this little fish can eat something as big as it was. Maybe you don't get it because you don't own one. Maybe if you saw in person how small he was and how big the arrowana was, you too would be shocked to see how he could of done it. I think more people are in shock then what you are thinking.

Let me ask you this question why do you own P14? or the crazy Arrowanas you own? Do you like them for the fish they are or because you can brag that you own such expensive fish? I love your collection don't get me wrong. I just feel you try and knock a lot of people.

yes i love my aros and the reason i dont own a gulper is because i do love my aros and dont want them eattern

i keep the fish i keep for myself not to impress ANYONE it has taken me years to build my collection to what it is now

its like your looking for sympathy or something what did you think was going to happen me personaly i would have read the gulper eats lei thread and done something about it not wait until one of my aros got eatter

have you moved the gulper out yet or are you waiting until he needs another feed

if i was looking to impress people i would buy a big flash car then you could drive something around to impress people come and look at my fish tank is not a good chat up line

I don't need sympathy. I just want everyone to see how crazy they are and to beware. I think 4in. gulper eating 8in lei yeah. But what mine did, not expected. All fish have been moved. The gulper now would have to eat a 11in. Male frontosa or a 16in Poly endli. I doubt thats guna happen.

4" gulper eats 8" lei = double size
6" gulper eats 13" black = just over double size you do the math and a black aro if far more slender than a lei.

Own a leichardti at 8 or 9 inches and you will see a black is taller and thicker. i own both.
