Yea that's what I thought, just wondering if you cut the actual power cord for the filters. If you ever decide to use the filters in some other application you would just use electrical tape and repair the power cord right?

How many coats of drylock did you use? I may have to use it for my filter because I dont think I am going to have enuf epoxy to do both tank and filter.

looks great, I would have tried and found a way to paint the inside black just a personal preference, but I think you said you had little choice in the color?

yeah i only had 2 colors to choose from white gray blue and i think pink or something like that. I would of liked to gone with a black background so you would not see all of the algae on it. Once I get some more money im going to build 2 60 gallon breeder plywood tanks and ill see if they can put black tint in it. i think thats its stupid that if I buy the drylok from lowes they should be able to think the paint what ever color i want it to be.
