This part of the project has given me the most grief deciding on what route to go.

Glassing is expensive, and I have no experience. Do have a friend who might help.

Then you have the rubber coatings. From what I am reading they seem to have great results.

Hmmmm.... Well still have time before I start the project.

Cant wait to see the finished product.

many don't like useing fiberglass I didn't mind as I enjoy working on my tank. it is not that hard to do skillwise but does require a good deal of patience and preperation. but when done right the results are awesome. the whole tank has a smooth glossy finish like a nice bartop it appears wet but is really hard. I was also suprised the smell from the kilz I painted the outside with smelled worse than the epoxy. it may be a lilttle more costly but worth it in my opinion.

what ever you choose to use plan and build accordingly and it will give you good results if you use epoxy I will be glad to offer any advice I can give and can't wait for you to start

Awesome build your cats are gonna love it. my grandfather was gonna helpme on a build but his health got to him first. he is a master at fuberglass an built any boats and other cool things with it. I guess I should have gotten my butt in gear 10 years ago. mine will likely be sealed withLiquid rubber but I still love watching the craftsmanship in your style of build.
