I will look into which filler is best. for the fillet I was going to make them to match the diameter of the aluminum roller I will use to apply the cloth. I was also thinking of doing all the seams with 6-8 inch cloth tape first and then inbetween layers
Sounds good. I guess I would find out if 8.5 oz cloth can be formed around that type of interior radius. If it can I would skip the tape and just make a single run of cloth, putting the seam(s) is a less important spot than the corners.

Of if the radius only has to be slightly bigger then consider that. Obviously it won't be worth it if you have to fillet a radius like the size of a tennis ball can.

Again, your framing probably makes a lot of this discussion pretty insignificant. But good to think about nonetheless.

by seams I meant coners as well sorry if I was unclear.probly unnecasary but good practice none the less. just got of the phone with west system the are very nice and helpful they recommend 105 resin with 207 clear catalyst as for filler they said 410 microlight. they also said the 207 already has some uv stabilizers in it and would need to be in constant direct sunlight to affect I so I think I will be good

That's great news and they are very helpful.

After reading your reply I realized they recommended the 207 hardener to me as well for a window sill project where some of my wife's orchids are going. I do remember them saying it can take a bit of UV.

At the time I was primarily interested in what was most clear so the UV resistant part slipped my mind.

Did you talk to them at all about your plans for two layers of 8.5 oz cloth? What did they say about that if so?

ok talked to west sytems again they verified what I thought to make the fillet radius match the roller I will be using. it is a one inch roller so a 1/2 inch radius maybe slightly larger since it will get sanded will be what I am going with. I also just ordered a gal of resin, 1/3 gal of hardener, 50 yds of 6 inch cloth tape, ratio pumps, and a aluminum roller. hopfully this will be enough to get the first few coats down and a layer of tape in all the seems and corners. I heard it supposed to be around 70 deg this weekend so shouldn't have any problems doing unless I decide to throw the kids and poles in the rv and head to the lake for some fishing
