nope, I have had the Jardini since it was about 1.5 inches, its got bigger and bigger and slowly i re homed it's tank mates, feel attached to the fish but i admit, im not sure long term on this tank just for that one fish, would really like to do a Malawi set up or try keeping rays and an asian arrowana.

Done the mist coat on the walls and ceiling tonight, the plaster is sealed now, another coat tomorrow and more pics with bit of luck

Awesome project! As far as your filter, just remember you're going to have to clean it, move media in and out, access fittings, etc. I would consider making it a little wider and shallower (say, about as deep as your arm is long).

Cheers Noto, that's good advice, i hadn't got that far in my head, it would be a right pain in the arse if i couldn't reach the bottom easily.

here's some updates. got the under floor heating laid and latex poured, most of the painting done now, just need to tile the floor this week sometime and the tank build can start
